Terms and Conditions

The daily, three/four day breaks and weekly rent, is inclusive of VAT. Cheques should be made payable to 'Corrour Lands Limited' with a deposit of 25% due at the time of booking and the balance payable not less than 6 weeks before the tenant is due to arrive. Reservations are considered confirmed only when the deposit funds have cleared. The rent includes the use of the relevant cottage and the electricity, gas, oil and firewood consumed.

Period of Let

For all cottages the period of let is from 4.00 pm on your arrival day to 10 am on your day of departure. Tenants are asked not to arrive earlier or leave later than these times but arrangements can be made for storage of belongings until your cottage is available if necessary.

Rental deposits are non-refundable and full payment is non-refundable if cancellation is received within six full weeks of the start of the rental. Corrour Estate may, at its discretion, refund part of the balance if written notice of cancellation is received not less than 6 full weeks prior to the date when the let is due to start.

Guests are requested to leave the property in a clean and tidy state at the end of the period of let.

Guests are requested not to wear outdoor boots or shoes in the houses.

No Sub-letting

The cottage may not be sublet and the tenants must ensure that the number of occupants does not exceed the maximum the cottage sleeps (health and safety and insurance purposes).

Damage by Tenants

If any damage is caused directly or indirectly to the buildings, fixtures, fittings, grounds or boats through the misuse or negligence of the tenant, he shall forthwith at his own expense restore or repair the same to the satisfaction of the Company or pay for the said damage at the discretion of the Company. The cottages are checked upon departure, and should there be any breakages, damages or additional cleaning, this will be invoiced additionally.

The use of electric outboard motors is permitted on the lochs and these may be hired from the Estate Office.

Dogs, £20 per dog per week, are allowed only at the discretion of Corrour Estate. Other pets are not allowed in any house. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. No dogs are allowed in the Cook's flat. Strathossian, The Steading and Corrie Odhar are only suited for small dogs.

No unauthorized shooting is permitted at any time.

Fishing will be undertaken in a sportsmanlike manner and in accordance to best practice. Only individuals with a valid fishing permit will be entitled to fish on the estate. Fishing Permits are available from the Youth Hostel, Station House Restaurant and the Estate Office.
